Fredin Brothers is a unique, multifaceted cattle procurement company founded in 1976 by Merlin Fredin and three of his sons; Curt, Jeff and Scott. Over the years, Fredin Brothers has remained a family-owned and operated business, employing three generations of the family. We continue to provide the best service possible and are always striving for improvement while maintaining our core values of honesty and integrity.
Order Buying & Procurement:
Buying and selling feeder cattle is the heart and soul of our business, accounting for most of our sales. These cattle are purchased throughout the United States and shipped to our customers. For over 35 years we’ve continued to focus on satisfying the customer’s needs and wants – customer satisfaction is what we strive for. With over 150 years of combined experience, extensive industry knowledge, quality service, and buyers throughout the country, we are ready to serve you – the customer.
Cattle Hauling:
Beef Corp is our in-house trucking division and dispatch service. We currently run our own fleet of 25 trailers, dispatch all of Fredin Brothers cattle, as well as dispatch many outside loads. Having this in-house trucking service allows us to track, communicate, and coordinate all deliveries throughout the US and Canada. Cattle Feeding:
In the mid-90’s, we began placing cattle on feed with farmer-feeders and commercial feed yards. This has given us an understanding and appreciation of the hard work that goes into this aspect of beef production.
In an industry where deals are done over the phone or with a handshake, it's so important to know who you're doing business with. Reputation, honesty and integrity aren't words we take lightly at Fredin Brothers. We live by them. For over 35 years we've been standing behind our cattle and our customers and will continue to do so in the future. Young people are harder and harder to find in this industry. Our business is blessed to have a younger generation excited to be involved. Curt's sons, Matt, Mitch and Mason and Jeff's son Brent and daughter Connie, are all involved in the family business. This brings together a unique blend of knowledge, experience and leadership combined with energy, eagerness and new ideas.
